Who we are

My Perfumery is fragrance formula and raw-material management software for perfumery labs, companies and shops, available as an iPhone/iPad app, an Android app, a Windows program and a web platform (perfumecal.com).

General rule: your data stays with you

Formulas, materials, notes and everything you enter are stored locally on your device (iPhone/iPad, Android and Windows apps), or in your own account database on the web platform. We never view, share or sell them.

iPhone and iPad app (iOS)

• We collect no data: no account, no sign-in, no device identifier, no email.
• All data stays on your device only and is fully deleted when you delete the app.
• Printing (AirPrint), sharing and saving files happen only when you ask, through the system's own tools.

Android app

• We collect no data: no account, no sign-in, no device identifier, no email.
• Permissions: Internet (material lookups) and Nearby devices / Bluetooth (only to send labels to a thermal label printer that you pair yourself — the app does not scan for devices or collect any information about them). No access to contacts, location or camera.
• Local data is fully deleted when you uninstall the app.

Windows program

• We collect no data: no account, no sign-in, no device identifier, no email.
• All data stays on your computer only.

Web platform

• Only the web platform (perfumecal.com) asks for an email and a hashed password, to create your account.

Built-in materials library

The iPhone/iPad, Android and Windows apps include a general public reference library of more than 23,000 fragrance materials (names, CAS numbers, odor descriptions, physical properties and safety data), compiled from published public sources and bundled in the app to make the designer’s work easier when filling in material data. Searching it happens entirely on your device, offline; nothing you search for or pick is sent anywhere. The library is for reference only; verifying the data before use remains the user’s responsibility.

External lookups

When information is not in the built-in library and you ask the app to fetch it (by CAS number or name), the app queries public chemical and fragrance reference databases — outbound lookups only; no personal data is sent to them.

No ads or tracking

None of our apps contain third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Children

This is business software for perfumery companies and is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this page from time to time; any update shows a new date at the top.
